It is only fitting that the Human Rights theme for October pertains to business & human rights. As we enter fair trade month-we are once again reminded of both our individual & collective purchasing power: that with the products we purchase, we are indirectly casting a vote for the kind of world we want to inhabit-is it a world where farmers, artisans, & makers around the world receive a living wage in a safe, respect-filled working environment or where children and exploited women work in unsafe factories for 12+ hours a day under grueling conditions?

We ask #whomademystuff and encourage you to join us on our journey to become more conscientious consumers. Join us this week in learning more about the Sustainable Development Goals and throughout the month of October as we highlight some of our friends who will be selling fair trade items in the GTGH Marketplace on Sunday, December 10th from 10am-3pm.
