(Lancaster, Pa.) The community is invited to the 19th annual Gifts that Give Hope (GTGH) Lancaster Gift Fair on Saturday, October 10th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM at the Farm and Home Center, located at 1383 Arcadia Road in Lancaster, Pa. GTGH is a group of volunteers that work together to provide a one-day, in-person shopping experience that encourages charitable giving. There is no cost to attend.
“This event is a great opportunity for people to start their holiday shopping,” said Jennifer Knepper, GTGH Fair Coordinator. “Shoppers will have the opportunity to engage with more than 35 nonprofit organizations and more than 20 marketplace vendors. They can also enjoy food and beverages from local eateries, peruse fair trade goods, social enterprises, business for good, and environmentally friendly & ethically sourced gifts in the marketplace.”
Marketplace vendors at this year’s fair include Friendship heART Gallery, My Peruvian Treasures, Hope Inspire Love, Binding Love Scarves, Crafted & Chosen Jewelry | Kind Human Foundation, Hope Served, Bead for Life, ELUME, Wild Child Fibers, Peace Promise: Soaps by Survivors, Selam Collective, Trade Faire, Happy Silence, Hope Noted, Ghana Initiative Mobile Medical Mission, Higher Grounding Herbals, North Star Initiative, Welcome to the Jungle book, Women’s Global Village, and We Rise International.
This year’s nonprofit participants include Aarons Acres, Ahadi Zetu Foundation, Anchor Lancaster, CASA of Lancaster and Lebanon Counties, COBYS Family Services, Connection Ubuntu, GiGi's Playhouse Lancaster, Hope Inspire Love, Hope International, Hope Served, KPETS, Lancaster County Feed My Starving Children, Lancaster County Food Hub, Least of These Ministries, Library System of Lancaster County - Bookmobile, Lion of Haiti, Live Like Libby, Lone Oak Animal Assisted Therapeutic & Educational Services, Manos House, Mental Health America, Neighbors Community Center, Occupational Development Center, Off the Streets, Outreach Paraguay, PA Vent Camp, Reparations Action Fund for Tomorrow through Lancaster County Community Fund, SWAN: Scaling Walls a Note at a Time, The Caring Cup, Touchstone Foundation, Water Street Ministries, Wittel Farm, World Bicycle Relief, and Yeshua Is The Way.
Fun things happening at the 2026 GTGH Gift Fair include:
- Fair Trade Chocolate Giveaway: To celebrate Fair Trade Month in October, the first 70 patrons will receive a Reverse Trick or Treating Chocolate Gift Bag.
- Live broadcast from WJTL: For the Kids Cookie Break from 10AM – noon.
- Human Rights (HR) Day/Fair Trade Scavenger Hunt: Everyone is welcome to participate; upon completion participants can earn a free book.
- Food Tour: Tickets can be purchased before or at the event.
- Global Treasurers Tour: Gives guests access to 10+ fair trade items; stop by each designated table to retrieve. Tickets can be purchased before or at the event.
- Junior League of Lancaster: Will have information available about volunteer opportunities and avenues to get connected to fellow philanthropists and community advocates.
Food is available for purchase throughout the day from some of Lancaster’s favorite food establishments: Lancaster Soft Pretzel, Traveling J’s, Stroopies, Chuckwagon Grill, Halos Eatery, Hello Mango Asian Bakery, and Character Coffee Cart.
