KPETS - Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services

Registered KPETS: Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services volunteers and their companion animals promote well-being and offer encouragement in our communities by sharing the power and benefits of human-animal interactions.

Serving local communities in health-related facilities, social agencies, special-needs programs, schools, libraries, retirement communities and hospices, KPETS teams readily visit wherever the human/animal connection may be beneficial. Ā KPETS services are free of charge. Ā Established in 2003, KPETS has grown into an organization with more than 300 volunteer teams, providing thousands of hours of animal assisted therapy for hundreds of facilities and agencies every year.

A Note from KPETS - Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services

  • Our volunteer teams of people and their pets enhance well-being through the power of human/animal interactions. Our more than 200 volunteer teams of humans and various animal species provide thousands of hours of visitation each year at no cost to those that request our services. Our visit sites include but are not limited to hospitals, hospice centers, cancer centers, schools for all ages, libraries, retirement communities, mental health facilities, rehabilitation centers, and more. We are happy to serve our communities at hundreds of facilities and agencies in South Central PA.
