FIG is a mission-driven community space where First Responders, Veterans, and their families can reconnect with nature, care for their well-being, and find a sense of belonging. They use gardening as a metaphor for life: tending, nurturing, healing, and growing together.
And their impact this year has been nothing short of inspiring.

🌱 Over 500 pounds
Of fresh food donated to nourish neighbors and local families.
🐓 A new flock of chickens
Including Phoenix “Fifi,” the resilient standout who embodies the spirit of rising up.
🎖️ A Veterans Picnic
That welcomed 60+ Veterans and families, creating a space for connection, gratitude, and community.
At FIG, every seed planted and every gathering hosted is rooted in their mission:
Empowering mission-driven individuals to tend life and improve well-being — for themselves and their communities.
Designed with Care Farming and Green Care principles, FIG provides a peaceful environment where physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth can take place naturally. It’s a place where those who serve — and those who have served — are reminded that they, too, deserve to be cared for.
This is the heart behind FIG, and it’s why we’re thrilled to have them join us at the Fair for the very first time. You’ll have the chance to:
-
Learn more about the programs they offer
-
Support their mission through meaningful gifts
-
Meet the people behind the garden who make all this good work possible
We can’t wait for you to stop by their table and experience the hope they’re growing in Lancaster.
How You Can Make A Difference?
At Gifts That Give Hope, we’re expanding beyond the annual Gift Fair to make meaningful giving possible all year long. Our online catalog highlights nonprofits from past fairs, making it easy to support causes you care about—for birthdays, holidays, and every special moment in between.
