The end of Mental Health Awareness Month is closing but we wanted to make sure you were aware of two of our amazing partners... Arch Street and Lone Oak Horses & Heroes programs cater their services to our adult population that suffers from mental illness.
Arch Street Center: A Haven for Adults Living with Serious Mental Illness

Arch Street Center is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to providing a supportive, membership-based day program for adults living with serious mental illness. Their mission is to offer a safe, caring, and judgment-free environment where individuals can focus on socialization, recreation, and empowerment.
Many adults with mental health challenges face significant isolation, often having few close friends or family members to rely on. This isolation puts them at high risk of being neglected or forgotten by their communities. At Arch Street Center, they strive to change that narrative by fostering a community where members can connect with peers, form new friendships, and enjoy themselves without the burden of stigma or outside pressures.
Individuals can relax, engage in recreational activities, and participate in empowering experiences. By providing a welcoming space, they help members build meaningful relationships and enhance their overall well-being.
Please visit Arch Street for information on their gift options as a part of the Gifts That Give Hope Gift Fair: Your Gift can support Inclusiveness, Stability & Belonging: Integrated services for adults living with serious mental illness to help build community and combat loneliness and isolation.

Lone Oak's vision is informed by robust literature and professional experience. Their design is shaped by input from diverse, talented community leaders, including academics, therapists, veteran child welfare workers, horse experts, youth, parents with CWS involvement, handwork artists, musicians, and community volunteers.
Help support the mental health of the veterans of Lancaster County through the Lone Oak Horses & Heroes Group for service members, veterans, and their families. The first branch of this program is with Millersville University Veterans Resource Center.
